Our Free First Aid for Parents course is designed for anyone caring for children,  from new-borns to teens - across the West Midlands.

We believe every parent, guardian, or caregiver deserves the confidence to act in an emergency, which is why we’re offering this practical, hands-on training at no cost.

Delivered by experienced operational first responders, the course is engaging, easy to follow, and focused on real-life situations, helping you stay calm and effective when it matters most.

There are no set dates, times, or locations - sessions are arranged regularly and shared via our social media channels, making it easy to attend wherever you are in the West Midlands.

What the course covers:

• CPR for babies and children, including recovery positions

• Safe use of an AED

• Responding to choking emergencies

• Managing life-threatening conditions such as anaphylaxis and asthma attacks

• Handling febrile convulsions

• Controlling bleeding and performing basic first aid

• ​

This course gives parents and caregivers practical skills and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies, helping keep children safe.
