Our 1 Day, HSE-compliant Emergency First Aid at Work course is perfect for lower-risk workplaces that still need confident, capable first aiders on site.

It focuses on the most common emergencies you’re likely to face, giving you the essential skills to act quickly, calmly, and effectively until professional help arrives.

Taught by full-time operational first responders with genuine real-life emergency experience, the course is practical, engaging, and completely jargon-free - just clear, memorable skills you can rely on when it matters.

What you’ll cover includes:

• How to assess a situation and respond safely

• Primary survey and casualty management

• CPR and safe use of an AED

• Treating wounds, bleeding, and minor injuries

• Managing choking and unresponsive casualties

• Dealing with shock, burns, and medical emergencies

• Workplace responsibilities, incident reporting, and good practice

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with the confidence to handle the most likely first aid situations quickly and effectively.

Successful learners receive a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, fully recognised and compliant with HSE requirements, valid for three years.
